INTERN APPLICATION
Hello! We are looking for a part-time intern to assist with day-to-day tasks at our studio in Bushwick.
Throughout the internship, we will teach you how to digitize, hoop, and operate the embroidery machine independently. Other tasks will include organizing blanks, removing backing, and quality-checking garments.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn the ins and outs of machine embroidery and production as a whole. We are looking for a creative, motivated individual with a strong interest in garment decoration. You can make your own schedule, with a minimum commitment of 10-12 hours per week.
At the end of the 6-month internship, there is potenential for part-time or full-time employment at a competitive rate. The 6-month period is unpaid, as we will focus on training you to run the studio. During this time, you will have the opportunity to digitize and embroider your own designs free of charge after work hours. Depending on your skill set, there may be potential for paid work during the internship.
