Terms of service.
By paying your invoice you are agreeing to the terms of service listed below. Please be sure to read through everything before finalizing your order. If you have any questions you can email us at padlockembroidery@gmail.com.
Turnaround Time
Our turnaround time is an *estimated* 7-10 business days. This is dependent on our current schedule, quantity of shirts, design complexity, # of print or embroidery locations, and finishings. Turnaround time does not start until all blanks have arrived and the order has been paid for. We do offer guaranteed turnaround time, additional rush fees may apply. Guaranteed turnaround time must be confirmed before your order is paid for.
Digitization
Digitized files we produce are for internal use only. We do not send out any of our DST or PES files. If you would like to use digitized files for external use, contact us at padlockembroidery@gmail.com.
If you are providing your own DST or PES that you received from an external source, we will run the file as is. We cannot make changes to the file as we did not create it ourselves. If you would like to make changes to the DST or PES you will have to ask the person who designed it for you. We cannot reimburse you for misprints if they are caused by a DST or PES file we did not produce ourselves.
Misprints
All garments, printed or embroidered, are subject to a 5% misprint rate. While this rarely happens, we recommend providing extra blanks if you are looking to produce an exact number of pieces. We reduce the risk of embroidered misprints at our studio by sampling all graphics on scrap fabric before production begins. We do not offer samples for screen printing.
Customer property policy.
Padlock Embroidery will print or embroider on customer-supplied property at the customer’s risk.
*Customer supplied property is not subject to credit or replacement by Padlock Embroidery. During the production, there is approximately a 5% misprint rate. If you need an exact amount of pieces, we strongly suggest you supply 5% extra per size. This is the industry standard misprint rate.*
• Padlock Embroidery will only credit you for the cost of printing or embroidery if we have misprints, not the garments you supply.
• We cannot replace screen printed or DTG misprints unless it meets the minimum order quantity required for that process. If you would like your embroidery misprint replaced instead of refunded, you will need to provide us with a new blank.
• Customers cannot drop off anything without the invoice being finalized and paid for. All garments must be sorted out prior to drop off. Please provide us with the style, color, and size breakdown for each item received.
For Example: Next Level 3600, black, 5 smalls, 7 mediums,12 larges, 2 extra-larges.
• All garments must be removed from poly bags prior to being delivered to Padlock Embroidery. If they are not removed from poly bags, there will be a $10.00 fee per 50 garments for us to remove them. If you would like any garment folded and poly bagged, please ask us before finalizing your order.
• Once customer property is received by Padlock, it will be counted in. Any discrepancies will be reported before we go print or embroider.
• Padlock Embroidery is not responsible for any manufacturer defects such as holes, ripped seams, mislabeled garments, etc. We try our best to inspect garments before they are printed. Your garment supplier will not credit you for items that are already printed on, so please check them yourself before dropping them off.
• Payment for your order must be made, in full, at time of blank garment delivery to Padlock.
